Pius Dagadu
With over 5 years post qualification experience in auditing and accounting for diverse industries, Pius Dagadu has built a portfolio that spans both national and international clients. Currently as the Financial Controller of Transroyal Ghana Limited, he is responsible for financing and investment decisions and ensures effective internal control within the organisation. Prior to this role, he was the Audit Manager at Deloitte Ghana for over six (6) years with oversight on a number of international engagements across various industries with a speciality in banking, mining, agriculture and oil and gas. As manager of an 18-member team with oversight responsibility for over sixteen audit clients’ portfolio worth US$ 250,000 annually. As a key member of the Eminence and Industry Analysis team in the Ghana office, he was the first point of call for international assignments such as Deloitte’s contract with the African Export Import Bank (Cairo). He also provided Ghanaian Banking consultative services to Deloitte Cote D’Ivoire.
Pius’s knowledge and skills in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) ensure he is abreast with the latest knowledge and technology in the field. Some of the projects he led in the past include Africa Export Import Bank (AEIB, Cairo), SG (Ghana), UNHCR (Ghana), Ghana Bauxite (Ghana) and Mainstream Re-insurance (Ghana) among others. He also translates this wealth of experience into facilitating workshops in testing, deployment and training of Excel and Audit Analytics tools across Africa.
Pius is abreast with the requirements of the International Financial Reporting Standards and the Ghanaian tax laws and possesses a good understanding of the Ghanaian business landscape. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) with over eight (8) years’ post qualification experience.
